Man.

If you told me a couple months ago that I’d enjoy writing the Chairman this much, I never would have believed you. It’s weird to enjoy writing what amounts to an NPC of a character and to have so much headcanon about him, but he’s probably one of my favorite RvB characters to write. Same goes for the Counselor. They might not have many lines, and they might not work outside of their functions in the RvB universe, but there’s so much you can work with that it’s a whole lot of fun.

LMFAO it’s in a private gdoc right now but i can sum all 30k of it up in 8 words: wash and sarah are the exact same person.

…this is completely changing how i see rvb and terminator seriously.

LMFAO IT’S REALLY RIDICULOUS HOW TRUE IT IS. Mental instability? Check. Paranoid of anyone who won’t believe them and taking things into their own hands? Check. Minor little issues with A.I.? Cheeeeck.

Plus they both know time-travelling robots. I’m just saying.

#seriously though it’s like writing the same character off each other #half the time they’re thinking the exact. same. thing. #actually more than half the time #but you get the point #why am i rambling in the tags #i feel like i’m gonna use that one later

this is the most perfect post to ever grace my dash

PRETTY MUCH. We are starting to wonder if we’re plagiarizing each other with every bit because they’re just. the same. person.

Ugh man I want RvB-in-Terminator-verse now. Right now I’m working on a post-Judgment Day fic, mostly as an excuse to write post-apocalyptica. I am screwing over what little Terminator canon I know but goddamn writing Wash and Sarah is fun as hell. They are either terrible or perfect together and I don’t know which it is yet.

Goddamn. 150,000 words of Wash/AI!York in six weeks, plus another 50k of sidestory. Who would have ever thought a simple concept for an AU rp log would turn into a behemoth of a plot I can’t even keep up with for spending so much time writing it? Or that we’d manage to pull in so many other characters and explore them? Or even that one single new episode with new details about the characters would create one of the most fascinating pieces of writing I’ve ever gotten to do?

If this is what my life has become, I am a-okay with it. I love this fandom, you guys.

staring at log.

Good heavens, this is the single most depressing thing I’ve ever written.

And also possibly the best.

Unsure about this correlation.

RABID WRITER CAPSLOCK RANT GO

spaceconfessional:

jumpingjacktrash:

let me just start by putting this on the table so we can all see it:

the way literature and creative writing are taught in schools is completely and totally wrong.

it is. it’s fucked up. it’s backwards. now, to be fair, i don’t have an alternate suggestion for schools. i’m not school guy. but i do have an alternate suggestion for writers, and it begins with looking back on everything you learned in those classes, and throwing it the fuck out.

Fact: after spending four months analyzing every page of A Separate Peace and every word and character name and setting place and what symbolism it held, I waited a year. Then I went back and re-read the book without a teacher hovering over me and found it more enjoyable.

Wonderful post and something I need to remind myself of daily when I write.

This is a beautiful post.

Yeah, I’m gonna demand that you share this asap. Seriously, my love for Terminator-verse knows no bounds.

Not until it’s done :| All I have are 800 words and it ties into the longer thing. …Dunno where I’d post it, if I do. Hm. Man I have all of these random fics lying around that tie into RP AUs and I should do things with them.

And finish more of them. That might help.
