WELP anything with Wash in it is a-okay with me. I can’t think of what has and hasn’t been gif’d right now, though.

Wash is about the only thing I have on my list right now, ahahaha. There were a lot more gifs going around when S9 was airing, naturally, but there aren’t that many with Wash, at least that I can remember. One of the big problems with making gifs of machinima — or at least of headbobbing — is that there’s just not enough movement to make it visually interesting, so I’ll have to see which bits I can pull.

But yeah, I’mma make some Wash. c:

As far as warnings go for your stuff (or what I read of it?) I’d stick to violence, alcohol use, and the obligatory crazy!wash warning. I can’t really think of anything else except “feels and emotional trauma” but that’s, you know, every fic.

Ooh, yeah, I should slap an insanity warning on there; I forget sometimes because it’s a giant part of his character by default. Wouldn’t have thought about alcohol use, though, so thank you <3

It’s character death I’m really stuck on, but I guess I’ll save that for the couple of true deathfics I have, maybe. :|a Decisions, decisions.

I wonder if I should stick anything on rvbfics, too, or just leave it to AO3. Hm.

i was gonna say ‘is this recursionverse’ but then yeah uh this is perfect.

Admittedly I don’t think a canon version would go that different. It’s just that Wash would have punched him and gone red in the face and refused to talk to anyone about why York’s laughing so goddamn hard.

Or something like that, anyway.

  • favorite canon pairing: Director/Allison
  • worst pairing ever: Pretty much anything with Caboose or Sarge, I just can’t get my head around it.
  • guilty pleasure pairing: Wash/Allison. Yeeeeeah. Can you say headcanon.
  • a pairing you want to see more: You know, I really miss Wash/Alpha. I’m not surprised it’s faded away given Alpha’s been gone for ages, but it’s one of the absolute most fascinating relationships in the series to me and I haven’t seen anything new for it since shortly after I got into the series.
  • that pairing everyone likes but you’re like “lol no”: Wash/Maine — I am all about the bromance and the complexities of their relationship, but I don’t see anything deeper than that.

This one is late too, what is today. From the lovely Basia.

1. What’s the thing that makes you nostalgia the hardest?

Really anything I really liked when I was a kid. I was super into the Lion King and Sailor Moon and Digimon when I was younger, so whenever I come across it now it’s like I’m 8 years old again.

2. Favorite Disney movie and why?

The Lion King. I saw it four times in theaters — I was six, I think? Loved it to no end, had stuffed toys, watched it over and over, the works. Seeing it on Broadway was absolutely amazing; I only wish I remember more of it. Still know every word to every song.

3. What’s the fandom that’s had the strongest, most lasting impression on you?

Oh, man. I think I have to say Red vs. Blue, honestly — my life has been really changed by it, in both good and bad ways, but I can’t imagine it not being part of my life at all. Goes for Rooster Teeth as a whole, really.

4. If you could cosplay anything, all expenses paid, whom would you be?

I’ve never been interested in it as anything more than an observer - love the costumes, no interest in making/wearing them. I’d really love to see some fanmade Halo armor in person, though, it’s amazing what people can do.

5. How many languages do you know? Alternatively, which language would you love to learn?

Just English. Took seven years of Spanish in school, remember very little. Always wanted to learn Japanese, but I’ve never quite gotten to it.

6. Which country are you dying to visit?

Japan. I’m not as much into anime/manga/jrpgs as I used to be, but Japan is still a fascinating country that I’d love to visit.

7. What’s your favorite book series?

Probably have to go with Harry Potter, at least as far as a series that influenced my life and inspired me and continues to mean a lot to me after so many years.

8. What’s your favorite thing about yourself? Personality-wise, looks-wise, anything.

My sense of humor is awesome, fuck you.

9. What’s your favorite thing about your best friend(s)?

The fact that they put up with me.

10. Favorite animal? Why?

Probably cats. I’ve always wanted one, but I’m allergic, so it remains a pipe dream. (Been thinking about getting one anyway, but I don’t have any idea how to take care of it.)

11. Best vacation/trip you ever went on?
